Schedules & Forecasting

Ombak Tujuh in its usual form, yes, it can get as big as 'xxl' tow-in! - photo by Kanenori MiuraTo get the best out of your surf trip, you can specify what you want in regards to surf conditions and wave types, and yes, you can specify ‘below-average’ conditions as well as ‘above-average’, for example, a known medium-sized wave spot can be ‘below-average’ if the swell is too small (smaller waves) or too big (bigger, squarish waves).

When we don’t have any trips to a spot at any given time, or when we turn down your requests to organize a trip for you or your group, more often than not it simply means that the destinations is below its own average in surf conditions, or, it just doesn’t fit with your requests. We will be very happy if we are allowed to organize a surf trip for you or your group to fit with the best possible – if not perfect – surf and travel/transit conditions, in each planned destination.

If you have a tight schedule, we’ll get you to the best-bet surf spots according to the conditions you like, as possible, and if you need a specific set of surf conditions, we’ll pick the best schedule for you. This is why all of our trips includes custom forecasting throughout your trip sent by mobile text messages. Bring your mobile with you, we’ll provide the local prepaid GSM numbers!
