WO Surf Trips faq

Left unridden and blissfully epic, pangumbahan / turtles going off with its barreling lefts! - photo by Kanenori MiuraWayang Ombak’s mission statement is to have you experience the soul and essence of surfing in a safe, healthy, whole manner where fun and stoke permeates being at peace and being at one. Our trips befits more as powerful journeys & landscapes for one’s body and soul.

It is built mainly on the basis of getting there as a sweet experience, being there on the best possible surf conditions as expected as well as fairly good supporting conditions, and going home with no goodbyes. We do this by being stoked on getting you stoked.

Wayang Ombak are surfers who love uncrowded blissful waves and we ourselves are actually living it. We have the local surfspot knowledge and forecasting background to know what are the best-bet times and conditions to go to a surfspot. This beats anything especially those surf guide books.

  1. Sorry just noticed this comment AFTER I replied to you over email! B-) – bringing your own boards will be easier for you if you go to Bali, Panaitan or Sawarna. Mind you end of January is not exactly the time for waves in most parts of Indonesia, so if you’re looking for waves, you should change your times.
