Speechless is all I can say.
Well at least for now! lol … amazing surfspots in close proximity to each other, a bay larger than 20 batukaras bays, the former holding at least 4 different lefts and 3 different rights. Phew, just walking on the sand beach keeping a trained eye on the surf looking for A-frames and V-frames will probably take half a day and spend at least half of your physique! Need I say more?
You drive glissendo-style just 45 minutes to the west from the bay, bingo, a bay half of batukaras, made of whisperingly whitesands, framing clear blue waters, and when its on, nonstop direct-from-takeoff tubes (for me and longboarders, this means direct noserides!), and yes, how did you know?
… left AND right! … no no no, wait a minute, it gets better, want to practice your right hander cheater fives? just a 2 minute paddle from the left! changed your mind? hey, its just a short paddle back!
Need a change everyday, errrr, a change every walk? Hey, there’s a cool peninsula-like set of white sands beaches with 4 breaks that each act different to each other and facing different ways!!!
what the heck does this mean? hey man, that spot is onshore? walk a bit to the other for offshore! all 3 is onshore? the last one will always be offshore when those 3 are onshore! All within a short walk away! One can easily get spoilt in this place!
No wonder the locals like to keep it a ‘secret’. Yeah, everyone can be sent to the cleaners to mentawais with exhorbitant digits for all we care. Or get to be totally alone and uncaressed in crowded Bali for that matter! We at Wayom salute the locals of the Stoke Surfspots place! And bow in Awe to the Creator for fashioning such a place! And no, we’re not telling you anything about the odd 20 other breaks for now. Be cool and be stoked! For Timur, hope to see you eating chili and staging smoke-screen wars with mozzies again, possible not alone next time up? B-)
